Free Modifications

PromoGear.com inspects all artwork submitted to make certain that it meets the specific requirements for applying your design to the products you selected. If minor modifications are required, we will make these free of charge with your permission.

Do you offer design services?

For significant modifications that exceed 1 hour, we provide art services at $35.00 per hour. At PromoGear.com, we have a full service art and design center. We have top artists/designers who work on the latest equipment and newest applications. By working closely with you and by carefully listening to your needs and goals, we are able to create an appropriate image to represent you, your company or organization.

• Mac or PC design

What types of art files will you accept?

PromoGear.com accepts many types of electronic artwork files, including CDR, BMP, AI, EPS, JPG, GIF, PNG and TIF formats. If you need to get the artwork from someone a third party (such as an ad agency), EPS is the preferred format because it produces the best image quality. While we prefer receiving files electronically, we will also accept your art on a CD, Zip or Floppy disk. If sending art via mail, include your disk and a print out of your file and send to:

What is the minimum resolution for artwork?

If you are using bitmapped artwork (e.g. GIF, BMP, TIF, JPG), at least 600 x 600 pixels is recommended.

What is the difference between bitmap and eps file types?

Bitmap images are defined by a precisely “mapped” collection of individual dots or pixels of various colors. These types of files cannot be scaled or modified without altering resolution. EPS files (Encapsulated Postscript) are vector files. These files define graphics using mathematical algorithms that allow for scaling and modification without a loss of image resolution.

Can I use artwork containing PMS colors (spot colors)?

Yes! PromoGear.com will accept files with PMS (Pantone® Matching System) colors in EPS files but will convert them to RGB (Red, Green, Blue) colors for display on your monitor. Keep in mind that screen colors can vary slightly from actual PMS colors.

How long will I be able to store art files with PromoGear.com?

Archived artwork will be saved for up to two years from the time of your last order. We will maintain art files for current customers indefinitely. You are a “Current Customer” if you have placed an order within the last 6 months.
